In 2023, Dr. Michalla received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree as a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, where she primarily focused on McKenzie Therapy: Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy (MDT) and rehabilitation. In addition, she published her first research article in the Journal of Contemporary Chiropractic titled “Extension End-Range Loading for Lumbar Spinal Stenosis.” Dr. Michalla ensures a strong emphasis on movement and exercise as well as the patient's overall health and performance goals. Utilizing a multi-dimensional approach to care, some of her certifications include MDT, Rock Tape, FAKTR, Cupping Therapy, and FMS. Her goal is to ensure that her patients move well to live healthier lives doing the things they enjoy. She enjoys treating pregnant mothers, babies, athletes, the elderly, or the day-to-day busy parent. In doing so, she performs functional and movement-based assessments around performance where athletes and non-athletes can thrive to become stronger and learn to prevent injury.
