Heather was born and raised in Northern Minnesota. Over the past decade, she has provided care in schools, children’s residential treatment programs, transitional homes, juvenile justice programs, hospice, and an emergency shelter for adolescents. She obtained her master’s degree in nursing from Walden University in 2021 and is an ANCC board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner able to treat individuals across the lifespan. Heather specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults who find it challenging to manage daily activities, have experienced trauma, or are facing transitions in life. In addition to mental health medication management services, she will be offering brief psychotherapy and educational components with an emphasis on healthy lifestyle choices, coping strategies, and building positive relationships. Heather provides services for individuals 5 and up via telehealth in partnership with Lakeview Behavioral Health. Heather is available to see patients in the Bigfork Valley Specialty Clinic via telehealth by appointment. To schedule, call (218) 256-7474. A referral is not required.
